Lauri Jo Bennett - Event Planner and Wedding Coordinator

I grew up in South Georgia watching my mother host many exquisite parties where only fine china, genuine sterling silver, and elegant stemmed goblets adorned the tables. Hand-stitched linens with matching napkins always dressed the buffet with the fanciest foods plated on lace doilies laid upon lovely silver or crystal trays, compotes and even matching punch bowls along with a beautiful floral arrangement and candelabras would complete their soirée. They wore beautiful party dresses with many wearing white gloves and hats. I watched Mama work with many brides planning and directing their wedding. My Sweet Mama, “Miss Dot,” is no longer with me, but oh how her love for all things Southern and her teaching me to always be a Southern Lady lives on through me. She taught me my love for cooking, canning/preserving, keeping fresh flowers throughout our home, and to always carry the host of the party a small gift.
I love to plan and host a party, no matter the size or kind. Here, I can book only the venue for you or I can plan and host your party or event carried out in full detail. I am here to assist you in every step of the way.
How fun is it to sit down with a couple of men who have to plan the company Christmas party. They have been given the budget, but they don’t have a clue about what to do next??? Oh my goodness!! This is my dream to help them get a $10,000 bonus next year!!! I have a team who can make that happen.
I adore brides and grooms alike. I just enjoy sitting with a bride and whomever she brings to meet with her and hearing out her vision for the ABSOLUTE MOST SPECIAL DAY OF HER LIFE. Then doing whatever part she wants me to do to make it come true!! From just booking the venue, to providing a full team, we can do as little or as much.
These are just a few of the ideas I have for you. I want to help you make TyTy Creek Plantation YOUR Place for whatever your need may be; big or small, our setting is nestled in God’s Rolling Hills and Canopy of Majestic Oak Trees and will certainly be accommodating for all.
